NIKICIO is indeed one of Indonesia's celebrating fashion houses and their fashion show was no doubt the most awaited show of the year. Their latest fashion show was held last week at the newly opened The Goods Dept inPlaza Indonesia. It was packed with young, energetic, excited people, most were editors and bloggers.
Inspired by the novel and films, the white oleander, Nina Nikicio has once again successfully presented a strong and beautifully done collection for NIKICIO:FEMME 2011 resort collection. With the tag line, "beautiful, dangerous, proud", Nina knows exactly how to catch the mood and essence from the novel and films into the collection.
The collection is filled with flowy dresses, sweater, jacket and trench combined with playful prints such as Indonesian batik ikat to polkadot. It definitely showed the other side of the always calm and subtle NIKICIO. Nevertheless, each pieces are still rich with NIKICIO's signature looks. It was timeless.
